Are WE the epicentre for Anonymous hackings?

As we all know, from sunday onward, there has been an uprising from the organisation 'Anonymous'. They hack people's accounts. I won't go in to detail for i am sure you know ALL about it. What came to my attention is the fact that they're doing it to be heard. It started off with a forum, if no body had commented to that forum, then just maybe none of this would've happened. Now look at the responses:

THAT'S EXACTLY what they're looking for. I am assuming Anonymous is some kind of protest-for what i am not aware of, yet still, they have got what they want. A reaction.

Is this our fault?

Should forums be scrapped from MSP? I mean, when has a forum done anything apart from cause aguement; or worse, let hundreds of MovieStars be hacked?
